Stupendous Man — Super City # 4: Kenji Sojuto

This is the first page of the issue. It highlights a flashback between Kairi and an unknown woman. Kairi is blindfolded and eggs the woman on.

The woman attacks Kairi, whose tie gets cut in the process. She swings at him again, to which Kairi dodges again. Kairi then jumps over a side swing and disarms the woman. The time shifts back into the present, where Kenji is witnessing Joey beating up Kiedo. He tells Kairi about it.

Joey holds up Kiedo by the shirt and demands to know what Kiedo and Obamashu have done with Obamashu. Meanwhile, it cuts back to Kairi, who tells Kenji not to worry about it. Kenji rebukes Kairi for his lack of concern, and Kairi tells Kenji to step in if he's so worried.

Kenji jumps off of the pavilion rooftop and remarks how it's always up to him to save the world. Joey wonders what is going on. Kenji lands and shouts at Joey to stop.

Joey tosses Kiedo aside, causing him to crash into the wall. Kenji cries out and after seeing Kiedo slumped against a cracked wall, he calls Joey a murderer.
